Terence Brannigan is a non executive director and shareholder of resource™, Northern Irelands largest private sector employer. resource™ is the UK and Ireland’s most innovative support services company with a long history of delivering great results to multi-site blue chip clients. In 2006 Terence led the management buy-in team that acquired what was then Maybin Support Services (NI) Ltd, Grove Support Service, both in Northern Ireland and Corporate Cleaning Services and Master Clean in the South of Ireland. More recently Terence negotiated the acquisition of Pall Mall, the cleaning and security services arm of Carillion plc on the 1st October 2007.

Prior to the buy-in he had held a number of senior executive positions during a career with Compass Group including Group Sales & Marketing Director and Divisional Managing Director.

He served as Chief Executive of the ESS Defence Division within Compass, responsible for global development and operations of remote site and defence services businesses. ESS designs, builds and operates camps and sites for clients in oil & gas exploration, mining and defence industries.

In 2003, as Executive Director with the Compass Group, Terence established and built the company’s Managed Services Division to deliver a package of soft services (catering, cleaning, vending, security, reception, mailroom etc) to large blue chip clients. From a standing start, the division grew into a £150m business within three years.

Terence is a trustee of the Pushkin Trust, a board member of The Prince’s Trust, sits on the board of the George Best Foundation and the NI Council of the CBI and is currently working with the NSPCC to help raise vital funds for the charity’s work.

Terence is married to Sharon and has a daughter, Kathryn, and two sons Rhauri and Fionnbharr.
