Mark Hackett

Mark Hackett is co-founder of Forum for Alternative Belfast. FAB is a not for profit organisation that offers an independent forum for the analysis and development of ideas about buildings, spaces and the city. Forum for Alternative Belfast aims to facilitate the development of workable ideas about how Belfast can be developed for all its citizens as well as for visitors.

Mark is a partner in Hackett Hall McKnight, an award winning architectural practice who are currently on site with the MAC Arts Centre in the Cathedral Quarter and in progress with Vartov Square in the centre of Copenhagen. He has taught in architecture departments in both Universities locally and is external examiner iat the University of Dundee. Mark is on the British Council’s Cultural Leadership International Programme.
