Patricia Freedman
Patricia Freedman is Cathedral Quarter Development Manager. Patricia has over 20 years experience in arts management and administration in the US and Northern Ireland. She held development positions with a number of national organisations in the US including membership director of the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) in Washington, DC.
Since relocating to Northern Ireland in 2004 Patricia has directed international community arts conferences with the Community Arts Forum, served as acting director of the Belfast Children’s Festival and the Old Museum Arts Centre and managed the first year of the current £5.2 million refurbishment Conway Mill.
In her present role as Cathedral Quarter Development Manager, a post funded by DSD and hosted by Belfast City Centre Management, Patricia works with the Cathedral Quarter Steering Group to create a strategic development plan for Belfast’s cultural hub. Patricia volunteers on the boards of Young at Art, Conway Mill and Culture Night Belfast.
Patricia has an undergraduate degree in music from the American University in Washington, DC, a graduate degree from Hartt College of Music in Hartford Connecticut and an Advanced CIM from the University of Ulster.
